Happy New Year Everyone! 明けましておめでとうございます！
It’s the first day of 2014 and I thought this would be the the best time to (properly) launch my blog. 2013 was the year I finally decided to put up a blog, but I was not very good at following up and maintaining one. So, one of the resolutions I made for this year is to be more consistent in posting and updating this blog.
I’ve actually stopped making New Years Resolutions a few years back, because I’ve been awful at keeping them. I’ve made very specific goals, and some of them were really hard to meet to begin with anyway. So this year, I’ve made a few but attainable ones:
1. Maintain this blog. I invested a lot in this blog, and I should really put it to use.
2. Eat healthy. Most people think that since I am living in Japan, eating healthy is easy. I tell you: it’s not. Processed food, desserts and store-bought foods are everywhere! Fruits and vegetables are quite pricey, and it’s also hard to find time to cook.
3. Study Japanese. I haven’t really been serious with my Japanese studies, but this year I will go and hit the books once again, and practice more. Plus, I invested in a new toy (a new electronic dictionary) that hopefully will keep me focused on it. I need to make the most out of it!
4. Save more.
Hopefully I can see them through the end of the year! I wish everyone a fruitful and great year ahead! 今年もよろしくお願いします！
